I want to apply my M Driving School voucher after my BMW CCA discount

So I have the BMWCCA 15% discount and a voucher good for $1550.
I am looking at booking 2 Day school of $3995.

When I called the performance center, they insisted on applying the voucher before taking the 15% discount. So it ends up (3995-1550) * (1 - 15%) = 2078.25. But if you take discount before applying the voucher, it is 3995 * (1 - 15%) - 1550 = 1845.75. So there is a difference of $232.5.

I heard someone paid with credit card the 3995 * (1-15%) first and then asked to apply the voucher the second day. It worked. I wonder if it is known to work.

Thanks guys!

I'm selling the same voucher you have for $1200 if you're interested. You can use both vouchers towards the school. Let me know if you're interested but as far as your question goes I don't know lol.

Eh I went to the 2 day school. Was fun but you may have more fun taking your actual car to a couple of HPDE with instruction courses. I guess staying in La Quinta was nice but don’t eat at the Mexican restaurant in there. Service was horrible!!

Yeah I was thinking maybe just do the 1 day for free and spend the $2000 on two track days.

Do you think you learn a lot more in the 2nd day?

The 2 day M school is great and a lot of fun but sort of expensive. Dont know if its still the same but I got 2 nights hotel at the Marriott, all meals with a nice steak dinner the instructors took us out for and a bunch of swag.

The 2nd day is well worth it. The first day is about 3 basic sessions, 3 mid sessions, and a big hot lap contest at the end of the day. The second day is 3 advanced sessions, and then 3 big sessions running laps in each of the cars. The 2nd day is worth double the first day.

I've wanted to go back again with some friends who might provide some more competition for me, I was there for a CCA only weekend, and most people owned some sort of M. I won every single contest except one I really got bored of. On the hot lap contest you get 2 flying laps, knowing I was more skilled than the rest at the end an instructor asked me how I think I did, I said made a few tiny mistakes could definitely go faster. Next day they revealed the results and both my laps were over a second faster than all laps for the rest of the people. In the 3 big lapping sessions no matter what car I was in I was blowing everyone away. Always pulled in the pits to give gaps or take the main straight to pass people in the infield section.

Funniest part was the main straight is like the pits, and they tell you over and over go slow in and out. I'm flying and the main instructor comes on the radio, he tells me when I come out of the banked turn, dont let up and blast full speed through the pits and I can pass 4 cars currently in the infield section.

That's the desert for you - we don't have a great selection of restaurants in the mid-priced range.
