ZCP Anti-Roll Bar; Worth Upgrading?

Apparently the ZCP comes with upgraded anti-roll bars. Anyone know the difference then with further upgrading to a set like the Dinan? Am wondering if the difference is negligible or would we gain noticeable stiffness while shaving weight...

Dinans are thicker but yet lighter due to their construction and are adjustable- but no feedback yet from Dinan on response rate or performance between zcp vs Dinan still too early.

I did though ask what would be the best upgrade for the kick out that occurs on the m4 at high speed cornering is the toe link followed by the coil over , anti roll bars of any kind after that just give it a final touch.

I know the "kick out" you're referring to. Caught me by surprise first time I felt it. Never experienced this in my E46. Was wondering if it was due to the adaptive suspension overcompensating...

BMW just did a horrible job with tuning the suspension on this car.

In stock form, it is NOT confidence inspiring, with lots of nasty traits and poor rebound damping.

I had zcp sway bars installed. I haven't done any hard cornering that would induce kick, but I noticed a very big improvement in steering feel. Comfort mode no longer feels sloppy and loose, it's much more confidence inspiring

I haven't tracked mine yet, but pushing the "kick" harder - does the traction control kick in or does the arse come out?

It does both. It will start to "kick it out" aka upset the chassis, then traction control comes in and you hit a wall for a few seconds.

TRZ06 has a major gripe with the F8X suspension

I have done quite a few track days (30+) with my M4 and find it beautifully balanced and predictable. All it really needs is a bit more camber up front (for tire wear and a sharper turn-in) and a good alignment.

If you run with DSC or MDM, it will intervene way before the car gets too out of shape (unless you have a Frankenstein version of Euro-MDM). But with DSC off, the chassis is wonderfully playable. The best of my three M3/4 (E46/E92/F82) so far.

Do you always track with DSC/MDM off?

Front sway bar is the same thickness but the narrow section is shorter on the ZCP. Rear sway bar is 25.26mm on ZCP vs 22.9 on non ZCP.

Is it possible to use the rear zcp sway bar on an existing m4 non cp , and also non EDC. Or does that matter?

Is the rear sway bar PITA to install? Dealer quotes 7.8h for install.

Can you send the part numbers of the ZCP anti-roll bars? Thank you.

I concur with with this evaluation of the F82 on track.I also came from 2 E92 M's and this car is superior in most ways and much more compliant on & off the curbs.

I mostly do. Except when the track get slippery (wet), I prefer to keep the MDM safety net.

Yes, I have one. It's a straight replacement. Get the software update from BMW too.
