They shaved the entire stretch 18 months ago and never repaved it? Like it's not important to have smooth roads. Cut up 5ft patches, replaced them, and then let everything sit for another 6 mos. Literally the worst DOT job I've ever seen in the history of tarmac building for me.

There were some really miserable ones on 95N around Exit 21/Port Chester. Pretty sure it would have been preferable to drive off a cliff than through one of those things.

I had to drive from CT down to Philly this past weekend and dodging the potholes was like dodging banana peels in Mario Kart...but as far as traction vs temperatures, I never experienced any problem this winter or last.
