New (to me) '17 Yas Marina

Starting the DD today. Spent about 16 hours on paint correction the week I got it. Turning in my Giulia lease in a week, will definitely miss it.

Fellow Yas Marina Blue M3 owner here. Congrats on purchase. Just curious, did you have a Guilia QF? If so, impressions compared to M3? I've been interested in the Alfa's but never owned one before.

No QV. I loved it. Only negatives are the awful infotainment and lack of power. Steering is unbelievable.

Yeah it's a Ferrari engine with 2 cylinders chopped off, but not worth the reliability and cheap interior

I had a QV that I traded in for my YAS F80. The QV had wonderful driving dynamics and it was very easy to get up to speed. The interior was good, but could have been better given the amount of money you are spending on the car. Infotainment system is awful. Also, I ran into several issues (I guess no surprise there given first gen QV) including broken headlight washer, replaced dashboard that went blank, and warped front rotors - all of this in the first 8 months of ownership.

I really wanted to like the QV and it definitely would have been better if they brought the 6 speed over from Europe. I still think it's a cool looking car that drives great and, if you get a proper warranty, could pick one up relatively cheap nowadays.

I had the same dashboard issue in a non-QV 2017. Also had to replace the radiator, the comfort access went out after a year and they could never fix it, and had a fuel pump issue.

I also got hit 3 different times while a red lights so I think that car was just cursed. Alfa still makes my favorite white paint though.
