What tyres are you running?

If street tyres like PSS etc then max 34-36 hot, so start at 30-32 cold and bleed after a few laps and repeat between each session until stable.

If semi slicks like A050 or Z221, around 24-26 cold aiming for 28-30 hot.

Reason for the range is weather, track and how hard you drive.

Awesome! Yeah I’d be starting at 28-30 and aiming for 32-34 hot but you will need to bleed after the first few sessions

Great job! I drove that track a while back and one of the M4s did a 53.xx so 4 seconds off that is super quick especially for such a small track.

Cheers, more in it with decent tyres and another crack at the Circut. I reckon a 48, maybe high 47 if the stars ⭐️ aligned 😂 anyway, fun little track, the faster you think you are the slower the lap. Smooth = fast especially applies here

howdy just joined up to this.... i'll add my name to this list....

Can probrably crack 1:08's but its been 5 years since I been on the track.. so this is my first stint back after a 5 year hiatus and i was rather rusty.. .

Another M2C also there modified cracked 1:07.7... so im about 1.4 seconds behind a modded M2.. so not too bad

Been a bit cooped up here in Melbourne, so not much track activity until recently, but a couple more times for me.

Winton - 13/11/20 - M4 (A050's, stage 2 BM3 (low torque), BBK, stock suspension) - 1:36.8 -

Bathurst - 27/11/20 - M4 (A050's, stage 2 BM3 (low torque), BBK, stock suspension) - 2:31.4480

Nice Matt, love the vids!!
How is that extra power/tune on torque delivery and traction coming out of some of those corners? And are you on Dsc on, MDM or Dsc off?
Going sandown any time soon.?

Tks!

Since the tune, MDM no longer works properly TBH, cuts power everywhere, so I've had to turn it all off. Never needed to switch out of MDM prior to that - so required a bit of throttle control, but once i got used to it, it was fine.

I run a 30% torque reduction in 1st/2nd, then 20% through all the other gears, so it's not actually making much more torque than stock, just a bit more power up top.

Re: Sandown - Nah - I think I'm going to be hard pressed to go much quicker than I've already gone there (1.20), but I'm going to PI on the 19th.

You got any days coming up?

Cheers,
matt

Awesome! I was wondering if full torque on the bm tune would be too much... torque reduction just for the track or all the time to save the cranky 😡 hub.? Sounds like a good idea though, power delivery would be awesome..

Yeah I have sandown again in the 28th of Dec. Once I get into the 1:20-1:21 I'll move on to the next track.... probably PI..
Who are you doing PI through.? Good luck!!

Bit of both to be honest, I haven't tried it without the torque reductions though, so can't really compare it to anything other than stock.

Nice. Well - enjoy! PI - Doing it with MSCA.
