Can M PSS tires be rotated from side to side?
I got Michelin PSS. Obviously with staggered setup rotation is not an option but can wheels be rotated from left to right?
I always thought that unless the tires have direction indicator, this can be done. PSS only have OUTSIDE mark on them. What do you think?

Are most people doing this? I wasn't going to bother since they can't be rotated front to back.

How does this increase the life span, you're only changing the rolling direction of the tire, the inside (which I suppose is more worn, will still be the inside)?

This is what I was thinking. I always rotated front to back when I had a nose-heavy Audi with same sized tires all around. However, I wasn't planning on doing it with the M4 as it seems unlikely to do much for tire life particularly when considering there is a cost of rotating (not doing myself).

It can be of benefit for those who track their cars. The outside tire (left on clockwise tracks and right on counterclockwise tracks) will wear out faster.

also some tire manufactures will warranty the tire wear if you have the paperwork for rotation such as Michelin SS tire give a 30k warranty mileage. I plan to rotate my next set of tire and use the mileage warranty to my advantage. who care if it side to side, your doing your part of the tire maintainance (rotation, wheel balance & paper alignment).

Second, tire mileage warranty is cut in half for staggered setups. |
