Yes it does. It's a tight fit and the leather isn't a perfect match but I think it's a great solution. I'm very happy with it

Very happy with this.

Edit. DO NOT BUY!! It sucks. Went through 3 of them. It gets loose in the cupholder. Constantly needs tightening which involves rotating the top part. Then it breaks. Junk.

This setup works surprisingly well.

Works really good for my purposes and allows plenty of room for placement/adjustment. Best part is its solid and doens't budge!
Does this require that you have a case for your phone? I have the moto x pure with a leather back and don't use or want a case

It doesn't require a case ad the metal piece has an adhesive. Unfortunately (I had a 2014 Moto X Pure as well) your phone's back is curved which may make it difficult to to get good contact with the magnent? Just get a Nexus 6p

I copied your set up..just installed. Seems like it will work well...at least better than keeping the phone in the cup holder tray cover thing.

Mountek airsnap. Up high so I can see boost gauge/afr/etc from the JB4 mobile app, and I don't have to look down like the other holders. Can be tightened so it doesn't fall and holds my iphone 6 + easily. Also tilts and rotates so you can get any angle you want

Just curious as I have the prev gen Moto X (developers edition). Can you bend the magnet? I do have a case I use (OCD kicks in) but agree, the magnet might be an issue due to the curved back....and no, I don't plan to change phones soon.

Its the metal plate you'll be bending as the magnet is in the base. Its pretty sturdy from what I can tell so I'm not sure how much flex it has. You can always try.

I've tried 2 different types of mounts. I like the iOttie iTap Magnetic Mount the best. It's small, with strong magnets, easy to remove, and holds the phone high up so you don't have to look down. It does block your "preset buttons" 1-4 if you mount it on the driver's side vent; which is okay with me.

Works great, but it's start to loosen now.

Had mine for over a year now. The spring still clutches very well. No loosening here.

thanks for the note. The product is only $15 so no loss if it doesn't work out.

Although with an F32, I'm using a combo of a of a Proclip mount with the Garmin ball head into a Airdock 2.0 wireless charger. It was the smallest/cleanest looking combo to do wireless charging that I could come up with. I'm using one of the Tylt wireless chargers in my Jeep, but its much larger.

I installed my phone mount today. Works perfectly. The metal piece is so thin it fits right under my iPhone case. Perfect. No movement and really easy to remove phone. Now I can use waze properly on long trips :-)

Oops hehe....I guess I could have been more specific.

It's the one MFNaTIk used in post #19. Small footprint, close enough to the charger cable area and a very strong magnet. Now my tray cover, used over the two cup holders, is free space

Ahhhhh the small victories.

I have the same problem, but from sitting in the driver's seat you don't see either of them, and really, they look far worse in that overexposed pic than they do in real life. I haven't found a cleaner way to mount the phone so that it can still charge and I can see it at the same time. The Airdock was the smallest/cleanest looking of the mounts.

I like this.
Is the M4 mount same as M3 mount? Looked on the website and they don't list an F80 M3.
Also anyone know if they sell one for a RHD car?

I used to adopt to this solution but the phone is too far of reach. Have to reach full extension of my right arm. Tired.
I am using cd slot mount now. Very easy to reach/
