I have one of your cables from eBay on the way BTW. Are either of these two do-able on an F10? I've got most of the other good stuff set.

Can exhaust valve be coded so that it always stays in sport+ mode no matter what mode you are in?

No ... your options:

1. zip tie the flaps permanently opened
2. Buy an Exhaust Meister, which will allow you to electronically force the flaps opened only when you want the extra sound, and stay OEM when you want to keep it a little quieter.

From my understanding on the F10 the speed correction doesn't work, but we can try it and the trunk delay change is do-able on the F10!

What is the likelihood if we don't get 6NS (Enhanced Bluetooth) that we can code to be able to activate the Text reading features? Really don't want a baseplate in the center console...

Standard Bluetooth can be coded to 6NS and EBT activated, provided that you have the combox which i'm sure you probably would on a F80/F82

Thanks pillpusher for the cable; I need to sort out the software within the next week as my car will be here in 17 days. I'll be in contact, and thanks for your contributions here.

Pilpusher84 - cannot say enough that you are so willing to provide this coding assistance and for free at that - really impressed. Just hoping you will not be worn out by early 2015 when I most likely will receive my M4 convertible (still a chance it might be 2014), when I too will definitely want to do most of the code changes you listed previously.

I am curious about my current 2011 328i Msport wagon - it was purchased with most of the upgrades available then so I am sure there are a number of options currently turned off (most obviously getting rid of thwarting in the Nav etc) - do you happen to know what options were disabled for that model in that year (video display - although no backup etc cameras on the car)? I do not have the combo box which of course came available literally a few months after I purchased the car (actual build date is mid-summer 2010).

Finally, more in ref to the M4 convertible, does changing the code status in any way invalidate the warranty if discovered at the dealership for whatever reason?

Thanks again for you offers of support.
Cheers, C.

No worries ... happy to help .... your 3 series wagon should be able to have most of the same coding done as the ///M4, however with a few less options, since the 3er will have CIC Navigation, and no LED headlights, etc.

if you send me the last 7 of the vin, I will do a vin decode and let you know what we should be able to accomplish coding-wise on that car.

Bought your cable from ebay which will get here end of week or more probably Monday. Have a Win7 virtual machine with Parallels on my MacBookPro which should suffice - sent you the vin for the wagon - look forward to hearing back !

Going to buy your cable very soon. BTW, would you please send me a link to your ebay cable listing? Thanks.
