Might want to check #55 on your list

Further, you have not included the Motor Trend head2head where it lost to the Giulia-Q (but finished ahead of the C63S and ATS-V).

For those reading, have updated the comparison chart through September 2017.

Name: M3 Comparo - Sept 2017.png
Views: 1253
Size: 91.6 KB

Quick summary:
  • Now a 64% overall winning ratio. (64 comparisons, won 41 of them, lost 23)
  • After a very cool start in the UK, the F8X is now picking up steam. A string of victories for the ZCP version gives it a winning percentage there (16 wins to 14 losses)
  • Those 14 UK losses, of course, remain the vast bulk of the 'negatives' on the car. But, again, the recent trend has been very favourable to the F8X.
  • It has a winning record against every car it has been compared to more than twice - 6 of 9 vs QF, 7 of 7 with RS5 (including old one), 5 of 8 with ATS-V and 14 of 24 with C63S.

As always, if I have missed any of the comparisons, let me know. (list with links to each comparison is in Post #1)

You might also want to add the latest M4 crushing victory against the C63S, RS5, CTS-V and RC-F in Sport Auto

I truly love and appreciate the comprehensiveness of this thread. I'm glad the mods decided to sticky it.

Many thanks SC - As I've said before, created because I just love being able to point to a quick single, comprehensive reference whenever someone pulls out the "The F8X loses all the competitions!" line. Nothing shuts folks up like the truth. (well, folks who aren't currently POTUS )

Sadly, not a win for the F8X on this one, although it did beat the C63 and Giulia QV by a full second around their track:

I think you are pretty all up to date

Note that the French comparo is between the M4CS against the 911GTS, and not the M4 CP.

This.

I had an E92 M3 and it sounded good, but not so as wonderful as some people here want to make it seem. I had to put an Eisenmann to really wake it up, but then my ears started to bleed. Even then, it didn't sound that much better than some american V8 pony cars I've owned over the years.

(another problem with the E92 M3 NA motor is that it was dog slow at high altitude. The F80 is much faster at the same altitude in comparison, thanks to the turbos.)
