2015 with 84k

JB4 @ 5k
DP's @ 12k
DCT GTS flash @ 35k
E85 BEF @ 70k

Broken trans mount, replaced @ 75k. Plugs every 20k Recently developed a slight ticking noise that varies with RPM, however, it's not always present (most of the time tho). With 50% E85 & 91 it pulls like a sportbike

I've never used any fuel mods or e85... the tune is very aggressive to gain the additional hp/tq that you gain from the e85tune....just 93 oct stage 2...as far as power , no dyno numbers but i've pounded several modded shit talking mustangs ,corvettes hemi scatpacks....with ease

Bumping this thread out of curiosity. Has anybody broken the “dreaded” 100k mark yet? I’m sure people have by now. Curious what updates people have now.

Not a single issue tune related. I had the seat emblems and intercooler replaced under warranty. So yeah pretty reliable all in all

Currently under the knife for Ecutek, flex fuel, and custom tune.

The last guy who experienced what your explaining ended up needing an entirely new motor. Good luck hopefully that’s not the case.

Garage List
2001 BMW 325i  [8.50]
2016 BMW M3  [0.00]
2016 w/47k and was VF tuned for 15k.

I'm going back to stock and looking elsewhere because I'm on my third going on my fourth post cat o2 sensor.. Tune looks to keep blowing the heater circuit on the particular sensor.

How many people are doing 20+ hard pulls a week?

Kind of worried about longetivity if I end up getting into that habit even with just BMS stage 1 lasting 70k miles.

I wouldn't worry about 20+ hard pulls a week as long as you drive smart. By smart I mean 6spd manual money shift etc... which will blow a stock car up. I've been tuned since 20k put another 20k on Alex Alpine Stage 2+ with some extra sauce, and can tell you I daily my car to work everyday 60 miles a day and drive it like an M car should be driven and haven't seen any issue. I do change my plugs every 15-20k and oil every 3-5k depending on what oil I'm running for the season. proper maintenance and driving habits are key to enjoying your car for a long time. I did add a crank bolt capture just for peace of mind.

Mine is a DCT and a 2020. Apparently BMW addressed the crank bolt issue on 2017+ models though. (What i was told)
