Part Information

Does anyone know what part this is? The interior of the door handle. Also do you have to take the door apart to disassemble? Looks like a puppy had a good time on it and it's starting to bug me, would like to replace if it's an easy fix.

Thanks!

Mine look the exact same and I'm to the point of being ready to replace them.
Found this video a while back but haven't taken the time to go through with it.

Did it on my e92… likely a similar process. Hated all of it.

Very common and really not difficult to replace; I did it for a friend on his F30 and it took about an hour my first time.

I did on my E90 335i, for the passenger door, I was a little scared to take the door panel off but overall, if you take your time, it's not complicated and easy to do.
Tip: Having a dremel helped a lot with removing the old part out.

Thanks!
I did this on my wife 3 series. Buy the covers on eBay they are cheap and high quality.
Need to take cards out and drill out plastic rivet and replace the handle with new part and rivets are replaced by screws provided in the kit. 30 min job.
