Brake cooling....
Back in the days of my E46 M3 I had a brake cooling kit that I installed. Ran the hoses under the front splitter and they went directly to a backing plate behind the rotor.
I've looked online and there seem to be some expensive $700+ options out there. Wondering if anyone has a reasonably priced solution.

I built my own kit. Bought two sets of ducts and hoses. Mounted it on the A arms underneath and ran it to the backing plate which I cut a hole in. Seems to work, I haven't seen any smoke from my brakes since doing this.
 There's a thread somewhere on here that has some pics of how people did this. Or possibly it's on the M2 forum. You can probably find it by looking through my posts. |
