Hi All - Just recently picked up a 2018 M3 with Competition Package in Sakhir Orange and absolutely love it so far! I came from an E46 M3 and although that car had better feedback; I really don't miss it with all the extra power/torque and convenience of this car! And I purchased this without ever seeing SO in person, I just knew I wanted a color other than black or white. It certainly stands out but I think in a good way. Will look to add some CF exterior pieces and an exhaust at some point too. My E46 had a full Supersprint exhaust (headers back) so this car is definitely too quiet for my taste. Anyways here are some initial pictures!

Congrats. Looks very clean. I sometimes see a SO F80 M3 parked near my in-laws neighborhood and its a stunning color. Its not common like the 4 or 5 Yas marina blue M3/4s in the area.
I went from a E36 M3 to F80 M3, so the torque and power was huge but the E36 is better at moving and throwing around due to lighter weight and hydraulic steering. F80 is more of a relaxing cruiser with better interior and tech. |

Agreed the older platforms were easier to maneuver, my e46 always felt like a "wild time" when I drove it- whereas the f80 is much more refined even in sport plus mode. Can't wait for the weekend to drive it again! |

For what it's worth, my F80s windshield is at 40%. All of my cars have all the glass tinted and this is the 1st time I went with XPELs top of the range option.
In the past and on my current AMG, I have FormulaOne Stratos. Both great options but look slightly different. |

Too light imo, but looks reflectiveish which people like. I'm personally a fan of dark tints though. |

Thanks. Honestly I'm not sure - when I see the car in daylight I feel the windshield is not tinted but in the garage and with the sides being dark it def does look tinted. I'll have to bring it to a local shop to confirm % al around.
Overall tho I'm happy the car had tints from the start - loving the look of the black windows against the color. |
