There is only one version available for the M3/M4

the M2C is offered in Race / Sport versions

Closer to race, in my opinion. The sport version was meant for Euro only due to stricter laws there.

Damn it sounds better than I would have thought! Still not sure whether it's worth it as a new setup from stock, but if you already have an MPE it may be.

Agree - To me the biggest benefit of MPE is weight over the stock can. I’ll say that my setup with just the stock exhaust sounds pretty similar with valves open since its effectively a straight pipe in both cases. I think the biggest difference will be valves closed since (based on another member cutting open an MPE) the MPE is essentially a resonance chamber with no sound insulation (still affects valves open but to a lesser degree). I actually think the stock muffler is perfect for a daily because to me it sounds or is perceived as quieter than stock with valves closed! The balanced sound seems to make it much smoother and less noticeable funnily enough. I kind of wonder what it would sound like if I removed the sound insulation from the stock muffler... maybe an experiment to do since stock mufflers are pretty cheap used

I'm tempted to try some resonators in the spring.
