It sounds better than some of the $$$$ exhausts on the market for this car.

Just get a track exhaust or a EL mid pipe and run it in a track exhaust rear section. Active makes a connector pipe for the EL mid pipe to hook it up to AWE exhaust, the track and the switch path from AWE use the same routing so I don't see why it wouldn't work.

You're joking right?

The backfires and rasp are terrible.

Plus who's got time to watch an 8 minute exhaust clip video

I've heard exhaust systems on this car that are a couple grand that are so much raspier

But yeah obviously there's much better sounding systems

Go to 6:40 in the video, if you don't think that's a deeper note than a lot of the F8x on YouTube and is super raspy that's just flat out wrong

I've heard hundreds of F8x exhaust videos, but yeah the farty noise when you let off is accentuated like crazy although I never disliked it, my main gripe is how raspy this car can get especially with catless downpipes, which I don't hear in this video

Listen to an exhaust clip with catless downpipes and then this

I hear way less rasp and more depth in this

But yeah if you can afford this car you're probably gonna end up going with an aftermarket catback, I just thought this was pretty cool

The exhaust in this video is probably stock everything except of the muffler delete.

No way in hell it's going to sound like that with no resonator, no seconday cats, and no muffler. That will probably sound more like a Chevy Lumina with a big hole in the exhaust.

Muffler deletes may make for a decent youtube clip, but in person usually leave quite a bit to be desired. Haven't heard this in person, but remember you're listening to an uncalibrated mic recording from an unknown distance through uncalibrated speakers/headphones at an unknown volume, first revs in an echo chamber (garage). Very difficult to gauge meaningful real world sound from.

I still think Akra Evo exhaust sounds the best for that deep throaty sound. Followed by AA EL Resonated midpipes with catless downpipes. In the end its your car and do what makes you happy

I haven’t honestly heard a good sounding muffler delete ever on these cars.

It doesn't sound bad at all, sounds better than some of these 3k exhaust. Although I love the Mperformance exhaust by far.

Yeah I'm in love with the m performance exhaust and yeah it sounds good for $150 compared to a $3500 exhaust although nowadays there's cheaper aftermarket solutions that sound way better
