the only thing that bugs me about this colour is that there is no contrast at the back with the tail lights But it is an amazing colour which I believe will be some kind of rare :P

It has hints of orange in bright direct sun, but that picture is being influenced by the Austin Yellow reflection.

In person, your worries will melt away. Trust me, I had some of the same concerns.

We will most certainly will be a unique color group out there on the road which will deserve a honk or two as we pass each other bye!

If I were to go with this color, though I'm leaning towards TB, I would do a slight tint on the tail lights to give it more contrast.

I borrowed my local dealers SO M4 for a few hours this morning, personally not sure about the colour, but the car was very impressive. Hopefully will be ordering next week if I can make up my mind on the spec.
Anyway here are a few rainy photos I grabbled. BMW M4 by Washy82, on Flickr BMW M4 by Washy82, on Flickr BMW M4 by Washy82, on Flickr

This is a great shot for what SO actually looks like when you just stare at the metal. Source -- drove my SO M3 for 10 days. Pic -- thanks GregW.

My NEW SO M4!!!
I picked up my m4 about 2 weeks ago and finally got a chance to do a photo shoot. Really love the M4 except the strange idle sound (not sure if it is normal)....Besides that, M4 it is amazing!

Can barely operate iphone much less take decent Pictures. drove to find SO M4 today, since am looking to get a convertible and like many am unsure what Color to take. Long Story short: SO is stunning. While lots of pics reasonably represent the Color, its a world of difference to see it in the flesh. SO here's two more maybe not-so-good Pictures of a great Color.

judging from all the picture's the only thing I'd say about this color is it must be hard to photograph! I'm not sure which one to believe until I see one in person.

Thoughts from you guys on SO for a 'vert? Also - for a 'vert - what interior? Would SO be too much? Option #2 is SS interior. SO is not my color in pictures but in person I can't get it outta my head even though I rearranged my ED for moonstone! |

SO as you say is very different in person I choose SO because I saw it on the M6. It has so much character and different lighting bring out the many colors that the paint is hiding. Also it is the closest to red that I was looking for. I enjoy my SS interior but it will take more work to keep clean for sure. In my opinion a vert with SO/SS combo would look great probably better than my coupe. |
