New Member Color Indecision - F83 SMB or Grey Black?

First of all, I'd like to say hello to all the members. I read a lot but never really had the need to join. I've gone through the colours thread a few times in the last week.

I'm picking up a 2018 M4 Cab next week. Dealer has Grey Black, Sakhir Orange interior, black 437M, with Ultimate Package; and San Marina Blue, Silverstone interior, silver 666M, again with Ultimate Package (this one has one extra option - Speed Limit Info). They both arrived at the dealer but SMB is not ready/clean til tomorrow - it was just delivered when I took some quick pictures. 2018 are limited stock left here in Canada.

I like both colours, just wanted to see what you guys think. I know they are two extreme colours to compare, grey is more classy and blends in where blue is really flashy and gets noticed.

Wow tough choice! Two crackers there. I’d edge towards the SMB as I prefer the wheels and the interior.

Can't go wrong with either one, they're both beautiful. I would personally go for the SMB tho

Those are the standard F83 seats.


OP, tough call, I’d go Gray Black, a little different and a little more unique.

Between those color combos, I'd have to lean towards SMB

San Marino, Silverstone interior, and Silver 666M's make for a classy combo on the F83!

SMB is kinda overdone now with the CS models. Grey Back definitely more rare now.

OP, I would lean towards GBSO. While both are pretty amazing color choices, the GBSO will look better when it gets a little dirty. While you may have OCD and your ride will never get dirty, for those times you are in the rain or wear blue jeans the GBSO will not look like it needs a cleaning as much as the SMBSS. I am always in awe at how nice my SO interior looks, even when it needs a bit of a cleaning. Good luck in making a decision and let us know how it goes.
