Will this affect the wheels structural integrity?
I posted this in the track forum but have not gotten replies, but recently at a track day got debris, probably a pebble, stuck between the caliper and inner barrel of the wheel. This happened to both wheels, both circumferential encompassing the entire inner barrel. the deepest is about 2mm deep x 2mm wide. I'm relatively sure this will still be safe to drive and track on, any thoughts? TIA.

I deal with structutal repairs in aerospace so I will provide general feedback. If the material damage is greater than 10% thickness of the metal, rims may need to be repaired or replaced. The best thing for you to do is to talk to the manufacturer. I would lean not use these rims on track due to stress loads as they may have negative margin of safety. Only OEM can provide specific engineering feedback and recommendation. Hope this helps!
