I have a F80Paul E85 tune that is great. I also have been running the OTS stg 2 custom rom switchable tune and I like the flex option, there isn't a big difference between the map slots as they all target about 23psi with E50+.

I'm thinking of getting a tune from Paul like this:

Slot1 road course tune 91oct-E85 with a torque limit of maybe 425-450? With pedal/throttle mapping for the road course.

Slot2 road course tune with a little more boost and maybe 500tq limit?

Slot3 full kill tune no torque limits and all the boost?

Or maybe skip slot 2 depending on what Paul says.

What are your guys thoughts? Or experience with these custom rom tunes?

Well i ordered a F80Paul custom Rom flex road course map and then second slot that is a spicier version that is meant for the street. So we will see how they are pretty soon.

CustomROM is so expensive and the only real difference is flex fuel capability. For a hot E85 race tune I wouldn't need AntiLag (just smoke tires) and my fuel quality is known so Flex doesn't help me either. I'll save that CustomROM money and take a separate Standard Map. It's easy enough to switch maps with your phone, and we know how fast the old flashes load in.

I ended up getting a custom rom tune from F80 Paul with an extra slot and i'm impressed with it. Its a lot better than the OTS stg 2 flex tune. It pulls harder and makes more boost. I haven't had a lot of full ethanol testing, but i had some E55 in it and i was up to 25-26lbs of boost. Hopefully soon i will get it up to 80% and see where it is and get some dyno time with some varying ethanol ranges.

My tune is setup as slot 1 is a road course tune that is flex and then slot 2 is a street tune that doesn't limit the torque like the road course and runs more boost and timing.

Then if im going to some car events or racing i can reflash to my E80 custom full tilt tune.

I do have the bend calibration flex sensor kit.
