The 1200 mile oil service was not performed so the car is still bugging about it. Sucks that the dealer had the car for two days and didn't ask to do it either (or even call me to tell me it came in).

Hope you guys all get your cars very very soon! The wait is worth it!

Didn't notice any pulling but you're welcome to swap rides with me next week. Still didn't drive the stick ;-)
Nav worked fine at pickup. BMW Apps and Connected Drive services were not activated but I had that done today along with the 1200 mile oil change. Peter Pan's service dept is not the same location as sales so not sure if you want them to do that for you, you'll probably have to wait longer.

Once you get your car, if you can, would you snap a couple pics with just the lower lip held to the car? I'm thinking of ordering just the lip as the "blades" aren't really doing it for me.

At least thats something... Not sure why a resistor would take so long to replace (or need to be replaced) though. Im still waiting for a reply

Same here. Stupid resistor.

They also said that they did no repairs to the vehicle, yet the "work order is complete".

Lost hope

Anyone else with a car in this cursed batch who hasn't taken delivery? Its exactly seven weeks now that my M4 has been at the VPC at Port Huemene. It got there Aug 12. My dealer can't get any information as to the delay. The car was supposedly in released status briefly, but then they changed their minds. Meanwhile, I've sold my previous car and have been driving a crappy rental (which stinks of smoke and airfresheners) for a month. I've lost hope now that I'll even ever get the car, or that when I get it, it won't be a lemon. Its got to have had serious problems to be held up this long, right?

Tell your dealer you would like to make a complaint to BMW NA. That will hopefully move the process forward
