I raced a c6 Grand Sport (auto) and lost. He stayed in 1 gear while I shifted through 3

The gears in this car are surprisingly short.

Starting from 0 mph yeah, with a good rider...I'm pretty confident from a roll 60mpg or 80mph an F80 with a good driver could keep up with a 600 crotch rocket. But 0-60 is another story (2.8sec vs 4.0 sec)

I wasted an F80 by football fields on my beloved 1198. As far as on a track, patch is where bikes lose leverage over cars. Other than that, cars stand no chance. Once you start talking ZX-11 and Hayabusas, forget about it.

^ Had a ZX-14 a few years back and it wasn’t even close vs a car. Perhaps the smaller ones like a 500cc

Get that a lot myself, cars in other directions or other lanes going around corners...seems like when they see the M3 badge they get feeling small and need to puff their chests. With my wife in the car I tended to point it out after the fact and she didn’t believe it at first until it kept happening and happening and happening...so now she starts to call it even before it happens.

Watch out for the 718s version, off the line would be interesting. I’ve never had it present itself to me but I’m thinking with LC and the way they squat off the line at a start, we’d be toast until about 60+?
