After 3 years! Nothing! People usually back off when they see the badge.

Murphy’s law dictates once the M4 is returned (lease ends in 3 weeks), I’ll see every type of AMG,///M, RS,etc...

True story, I’m leaving Wal Mart with my 9 year old daughter with both windows down. We pull up to the stop light and I look over at an old man prob in his 70s revving on me in an older Chevy PU. HE LOOKS at me as serious as can be as says nothing. I’m literally in disbelief so finally after about a 10 sec stare off I said do you want to run um? He then broke down laughing and said, my grandson here loves your car. I said thank you very much and when the light turned green I left them for dust lol.

When I first got my F80, it seemed the entire challenger/charger trim levels and Camaros would non stop hit me up. Ever since I tuned the car with intake, chargepipes and downpipes, I rarely get any encounters. Makes me wonder just how loud my car really is..

As I was an early adaptor with my 2015 M3, they were pretty rare to see, even less likely in rural areas. Being new on the road made seeing two passing by a pretty cool thing, thus producing a wave or nod of acceptance. Today as we are at the end of the F series cycle, the wow factor has somewhat wore off to a fairly common sighting, so not as big of a deal as it once was. Waves will still come from hardcore M owners but just not from a feeling of exclusivity anymore.

Moreover the move from a E series to an F was pretty dramatic, but I’m not sure going from F to G will have the same effect, that is to say wow factor, so I’m guessing M owners will be pretty indifferent as well. Homogenization within the 3 series line is not a good path for BNW, when mostly all that separates is M badging.

M4 vs. M6
Raced my friends 2016 M6 GC, whopped his A$$ because he mis-shifted the first time (left him 4 cars or more behind). Raced again and he didn't mis-shift, this time my A$$ was whopped.

- A Dodge challenger DEMON messed with me, like a gentlemen; I did nothing.

I’ve been driving my wife’s Lexus for a minute, so i usually forget what this car is capable of!!

Merge lane was approaching and a big a$$ Dodge Ram and Ford race ahead of me to jockey for position...I casually strolled up to left side (everything in sport+), as soon as light turned green I floor it, leaving everyone behind. Lo and behold a 335ix was sitting in queue.

Lol, I could see him trying to catch up as I jumped on the expressway...
I let him pass and get a quarter mile ahead.... that’s when I floored it again and caught up and left him in the dust! All in good fun!!

Damn this car is intoxicating (power/outside exhaust note) when you have it dialed up!!
Not sure the M340 can fill most of those shoes!

So, I turn off DSC, and throw everything into sport+

Pulled up next to an M550i at a stop light, it’s raining out so racing was the last thing on my mind, but not his!!

Dude pulls off , so I pulled off too! Mind you I have traction control on and still slipping. He follows me onto the expressway and that’s when I open up!
Old dude couldn’t handle the curves, but as I slowed to 100 I see him approaching hot!! Gotdam car pulls like a train!! In a straight line that car is fast as hell!! Luckily his exit came up (thank god)!

Ran my boys f10 M5 (dps, project gamma intakes,evolve stage 2 tune). From 65 to 120ish. We were dead even til about 110 then he started pulling away. He was 1.5 cars ahead when we shut down. Was surprised I hung with him that much, thought he would immediately pull. I have drop in filters and alpine stage 2+ tune. He would just kept pulling I feel if we kept going.

Saw my first M2 Competition on the hwy. Nothing in front of the two of us. He broke his neck to pass the two cars behind me at the light we both were just sitting at but when he got next to me he acted as if I wasn't even there.

Pulled hard on a new/er Ducati, not sure the model but it looked the business and the driver caught up to me, and set up to run. Shocked, I'm shocked the speed of this thing. Bm3 s2 e30, FBO for the meantime, have a fresh full corn F80Paul tune in the phone ready to light up...
