Considering this I can't think of anything of more value/fun/entertainment that I could buy with that $3K or $4K that I couldn't buy right now anyway [and I already give away about 8-10% of gross as it is, though I suppose one can always give more and that is a good thing.]. Now consider also the facts that the bumper-to-bumper warranty [and service costs] are extended for a year and the fact that I will not have to pop for $1200 in new tires for another two years and that just makes the total package even better... |

I guess in the end it really does come down to personal priorities and preferences. When I was in sales I always said a good deal is whatever the customer thinks is a good deal. I'm sure there are a lot of BMW SA's out there who are hoping a lot of folks like you think trading their new E90's in on an E92 for a loss is a good deal

This is exactly why I drive my wife's Honda Civic every few weeks... When I come back to my E90 it feels like such an awesome car!
Never test drive a better car than what you have. |

no its not i agree. especially with those ECU coming out and exhaust and everything, we will be right there with the 335. Also our E90 330 and 325 will soon have some sort of boost. BUt on the 335 all you can do is mess with the boost on the stock turbos. So there is actually more of a chance to get more hp out of a 330 then a 335 in my opinion |

That said, this is why I love the 335 engine. And before you flame me out the door, yes I know the C6 has a cheap plastic interior and no back seats. But seriously, that engine is something else.

If I ever get stationed back in Europe or even Italy, i'll sell my 330i and order myself a 335i. Thats the only place i'll benefit from the $4000 off MSRP, tax free, license free, and finally shipping free back to CONUS.
