Full leather is nice but nothing crazy these interiors are driver focused anyway rather than being luxurious. It's an M car, competition pack over full leather any day. Also 20 inch black wheels 666m are beautiful |

I was shopping ZCP only and test drove MANY! love the seats & wheels and extra little power bump... but found a great deal on a very clean 2016 non ZCP with a bunch of aftermarket parts the original owner had added.
I sold the remus exhaust it came with and bought some nice ZCP 666 wheels and iam very very happy with my choice. I don't think its a must but iam sure if i had one i would think so. the " look back" pic i took today ...i just love it!!! |

Still, I bet there is probably more to the story than just ZCP vs. non ZCP with leather (which BTW is stunning and worth it if you can find it).

If not get the zcp. IMO the zcp seems to holds its value better. |

I personally hated the comfort of the ZCP seats vs the standard seats but I have lower back issues.
ZCP wheels are also ugly boat anchors. So have to have a plan to change them or go optional 19s. Otherwise its a must have. |

The 763M are are a great alternative, the lightest and best looking OE wheels from BMW in a very long time IMO.

Ok guys I need some advice. I have been looking for a used M4 Convertible 6MT. I don't have a preference on color or year 16-18. But I am trying to find one with all the options that I want. But its been very hard. I recently found one that checks off all the boxes except for the Competition Package. It has
- Executive Package -Lighting Package -Driving Assistance Package -Extended Leather -Parking Assist -M Adaptive Suspension Basically everything. My question is with this car and the the added options like the Adaptive Suspension will I even notice the difference as a fun weekend car? Will I regret just not looking more and waiting till one comes around with the Competition Package? |

If you haven’t driven a competition package, you won’t know what you’re missing or not missing. If you like the current car as is, then buy it. Things like exec package make a bigger difference IMO. I think you get the ICON headlights and some luxury bits like 360 camera, Side cameras, HUD. ZCP is a few more HP and revised suspension and a different exhaust. Unless you drive it back to back, you won’t notice it. I noticed it more when I was shopping because I drove both in a short time frame. I have everything on my car except full leather and ZCP. I wish I had full leather now that I look back, but the dealer was giving me like 10K off this car so I couldn’t say no. No regrets on ZCP, 5K for like 20 HP isn’t worth it to me. Plus I don’t like 666m wheels or the lack of lumbar support. ZCP burbles are cool and all, but you can code that in with BM3. Plus you’ll get more power with a Bm3 tune and it’s much cheaper than the ZCP package. |

[QUOTE=N1rve;27300764]Get a car with everything if it meets your budget. You’ll might be like “Ah I wish I had ....”
Thank you for your response. The difficult part is getting access to one or both to drive and see for myself. Here in Utah there is nothing to go look at or drive. I have had many BMW's over the years including a 2002 M3 Convertible so I know what to expect when buying one. I have come to the conclusion if I find one I'll either have to fly to it to drive it or just buy it without driving. Anyway I understand that I probably wont miss the ZCP that makes total sense. Do you think it would hurt resale down the road not having it? I really like this one I found, I just have hesitation with it not having ZCP and I just don't know if I should be worried about it. |
