New F80 owner...
Hello Guys,
Just bought my first M3 and Im in love!! 2018, I have the 666m wheels. My eye's hurt from reading..and Im still not made a decision. Buy winter wheel package or just put winter tires on current wheels. Also, I wanted to go with a larger size. 275/30 and 295/30. Im not planning on lowering my car. It's a daily driver and no track days. Thank you! |

I was in the same situation a few months back. Unfortunately there is only one winter tire (Michelin Pilot Alpin PA4) made in the right size for the 666M and it is very expensive. I could be wrong but I looked for so so long for an alternative tire. I ended up buying a complete 18" tire and wheel setup from a local guy on the forums. Cheaper and easier.

The F80 needs traction. With a 2018 you'll eventually get the bug for Mo Powah and tune Bootmod3.
Best bet is put a set of 255 Blizzak LM-32s on your 666s and buy a nice set of wide staggered wheels (265 on 19x9.5F, 305 on 19x11R) for warm weather grip. Michelin Pilot Sport 4S is the right street tire. Bridgestone RE71R is a sticky trackable compound good for street too, but is loud when rolling.
