Couple of general ///M stats questions, can you please help

Dear All,

I would really appreciate some input on the following questions that I didn't find much about when doing some research on fora and online:

1) What's the percentage of ///M car buyers (any model) that DO NOT particularly care about their ride or performance driving and just buy for looks/specs/price/prestige?

2) Out of the 14,500 ///M cars sold in the US in 2015, do you have further intelligence on how many units were sold of each model?

3) What's the average sticker price across all ///M cars sold in the US in 2015?

Any input greatly welcome. Thank you.

Best,
H.

Unless you have someone who works for BMW corporate willing to divulge this data, you won't be able to gather this info from this forum.

Only speculative estimates.

1329 M4 Convertible,
4944 M4,
209 M6 convertible,
443 M6 GC,
358 M6 Coupe,

If you consider M235 a real M, you really haven't heard about M2.

It's like all M-sport cars are M now.

5000 per year for the M4 is more than I would have guessed. The breakdown of M3 (2800) vs M4 (4900) also just doesn't fit with what I see. At track days, on the road & online I feel the split is more 60/40 or 50/50. But what you perceive isn't always the truth. Good numbers though.

Ok, I understand that unless you are BMW senior management, you won't have exact numbers.
How about some best guesstimates everybody?
