AWE Resonated Exhaust + Catless Downpipes // Video + Photos + Review // TAG MS

In order to show you guys some different options we decided to switch up our exhaust setup a little. The previous setup had the stock downpipes/cats installed with a non-resonated AWE exhaust system. This time we opted for a Resonated system with Akrapovic Catless Downpipes. We went to AWE’s Quieter exhaust to compensate for the higher exhaust note caused by the catless downpipes. The system, with valves open, is significantly louder and a hair more raspy, giving it more of an aggressive sound.

I spent some seat time in the car and to be honest, with the valves closed, the system is VERY livable in this configuration. There is zero drone inside the cabin and outside the cab sounds fairly tame. With the system in Sport/Sport+ (valves open) it turns into a monster. The exhaust gargles and pops quite a bit more, and while boosting, if you quickly release the throttle, the whip/pop like sound is just menacing!
If you are looking for something loud, to mate to your existing catless downpipe, this is the way to go! If you go with the non-resonated center section, it just makes the sound quite a bit louder and may cause some drone so we recommend the resonated setup! Both systems are in stock on the shelf!

We always are here to help our clients with the decision making process so any questions, comments, or concerns that we can help you address, please dont hesitate to email us
HERE or PM for more details.
