VTT / Cary Jordan / Puerto Rican S55 run 9.76@146 STOCK MOTOR

Well, we already had the stock motor S55 record, it was reset today TWICE thanks to a solid crew of people.

The details I know on the car:

Stock Motor S55, Stock head, stock block, the motor is untouched
VTT GC's (NOT GC+)
VTT V2 Spline lock
BM3 Tuning platform
Cary Jordan Tune
Bimmer PR did all the upgrades
Ignite red E85
Methanol for IAT reduction

Can ran a 9.89 @ 144MPH, then backed it up with a BLISTERING 9,76 @ 146!

If anyone still has questions as to what is the hands-down best upgrade on the S55 platform, the only question I have for you is why?

THE ONLY TURBOS to have not one, not two, but THREE stock motor S55's in the 9's, and now 9.7's at almost 150. Still waiting for the other guys to get something, ANYTHING into the 9's besides a fully built race car.

Very impressive trap speed and 60' time. Perfect formula for a super quick 1/4 mile pass! Congrats to everyone involved!

Cary's IG post says it has meth injection and Ignite Red 114 is E90 grade fuel. But these minor details don't change anything about this incredible pass.

FWIW, DA was reported to be at 2177', so this would be a solid mid 9-second car if they took it to Atco Dragway.

Yes I believe it does have meth for IAT reduction. I will add it, I was not aware of all the details when the post was made

You know what,

Chris and his company VTT did get a lot of flak recently, we all sharpened our pitch forks, myself included but there is no denying his products produce incredible results. Much respect.

Interested to know how the stock fuel system can cope on E85 with upgrade turbos, mine can't with pure stage 2 +

This is more of a testament to the owner's vision and tuner experience with a dig race calibration.

Ignite Red 114 is 90% race grade ethanol. It is superior to pump E85, because of its higher resistance to self-ignition under compression.

There's a lot we don't know without seeing the logs. But for the sake of simplicity, let's just say it's possible to run a higher concentration of ethanol without making the fuel pressure crash.

Yes the mods clearly state meth for iat reduction. Many many other cars with E85, meth and other manufacturers turbos have tried for a stock motor 9 second pass. Not a single one has achieved it. We have now done it in 3 separate cars. It's not a coincidence...

Assuming that the right amount of meth is supplemented, can S55's run E100?
Any issues specifically with the stock ignition coping?
