Any issues specifically with the stock ignition coping?
That’s going to be tuner dependent. There’s another BM3 tuner who managed to achieve 100% methanol (PI disabled), albeit at limited boost. Methanol has roughly 25% less energy density than ethanol, so more fuel volume is required, along with higher demand on the HPFP. However, the car was able to run, or at the very least hold idle, without hitting the fuel scalar limit.

But just because something works, doesn’t mean it’s the best approach, especially for a high HP application. A proper PI fuel supplement setup is still the more efficient route.

I'm from Bimmer PR and Besides the 2 that already ran 9 we have 6 more that are trapping almost same mph, we are just working on 60ft. But they should all be in the 9s soon. All of them are on GCs except 2 including mine which has GC+

You forgot to add this car is completely gutted. It's still impressive but I went 10.0 @140 with a full race weight on 93 octane. (My weight was 3880 without me in it).

I'm thinking that car probably weights maybe 3500lbs with the driver

I assume some very big, very sticky drag radials were also involved considering that 1.5 60 foot time (which is insane for RWD).

There's not many options. I'm sure he's running the same 18" tire we all run. MT street ss, MT et street r, or a toyo r888r.
