Agree, it's such weird thinking.

There is nothing overly futuristic here that I am accustomed to seeing in concept cars. The license plate doesn't even say "concept" on it like it usually does. Again sorry for the stupid question but I thought this was the official release of the ///m4.
Lic plate clearly says BMW concept. But I see what u saying.

Someone pointed out in a previous thread that it might say it under the black electrical tape underneath the "copyright mark"? It kind of looks like it says power or something...maybe just twin power and it's just a non-m engine lol

It says ///M Power on the engine cover

sorry u r wrong sir. I see more e92 m3 owners complain about new M than the rest. Especially my2013. Jealousy? just kidding

Anyone know if the M4 is still at Laguna or will it be moved back to Pebble today? I'm trying to catch a glimpse.
Yes, its still there. Just saw it at Laguna Seca this afternoon. Looks awesome, except for the color!

I had a RS4. I always thought it was a little small inside, especially the back seats. But the S6 is too big. So is the M6 and M5 imo. I look at this M4 as a minus M6 or and M3 plus. I think it's the perfect size.

I think this new M looks freaking awesome. I just purchased a 2011 E92 M3. But this car is sick, it's a great evolutionary design from the E92. I will own one soon.

Well, you're a grizzled 2 year veteran, so I'm sure you've seen it all. Maybe us rookies will someday learn the master strategy of buying the last model year of a series, and then discounting everyone else's opinion.

Drove all the way from Solvang at 4am. Got a flat tire on HWY 1 sat on HWY 1 with no cell service and had to resort to BMW assist which took 3 hours to come get me. Finally get to Pebble and the M4 is no where to be seen. Talk to a few of our fellow forum members who were there all day and they said they never saw it either.

David and I went over the BMW Villa off 17 mile drive where they had the intital launch of the m4 on thursday but it was no where to be found there either.

My car is sitting at BMW monterey now hoping tomorrow morning I am able to get a new tire and I can get home. Big waste of trip not being able to see the M4. real bummer I will say though the concours show had some insane rides and I was blown away by some of the concept cars from other companies.

No! Was really looking forward to hearing your views. Sorry to hear about the trouble, you have to be pissed going through all that then not finding the car. Do you have a BMW contact that can give you a look tomorrow?

I think the key thing is the difference between the aluminum hood and the plastic bumper, having the line there allows the plastic to extend up further so maybe that's how the car is safer to pedestrians and it helps take a little weight off of the nose.

What amazes me is how someone (or more than one) will always say, "Well, I can go get a tune and a LSD in my 335i and beat this, and it will be better."

But, i's not made, created by M Division...It' annoys me that people tend to insinuate that the engineers just put XYZ in the car and drove around the 'Ring for hours, just so somebody could catch them on video.

Both David and I called everyone we know and nothing. Def bummed, def a waste of a trip. I blame it all on BMW Assit! 3 hours to get a tow truck to me and putting me on hold for more then 30min! O well is what it is. Im sure they were trying their best.

Just will have to live through the pictures that are posted on the forums! lol
