Good App for Track use? (not in my M car..)
Heading to the track in Vegas this weekend for some fun time.
Any good IOS apps that would nicely record the laps based on GPS/etc? Won't be driving my car (or an M) so M laptimer won't do..... The App store directs me to TrackAddict...?

Yep, can't go wrong with Harry's. Speed data on my videos is all janky (might be settings error or my antique 6S), but lap times are spot on.

Harrys is ok and all. But I cannot stand the interface and design. Ive been using Racechrono last few events. Much more organized. Also bought the pro version.

+1 for Track Addict, it actually has somewhat decent lap analysis functionality too! Fair warning the data you might get without a dedicated GPS might be a little off at times.

a separate GPS device is an absolute MUST for mobile apps to get any meaningful data for reference. i believe most of the mobile apps grab data once a second... which you can imagine which result in essentially junk data.

+1 for RaceChrono. I used to use Harry's but it's an older app. RaceChrono is great and I prefer the interface, the overlay design and flexibility, and the data display.

I used TrackAddict for over 2 years, very satisfied with what it offers. I use it with a 5Hz GPS, the default phone GPS will not be enough for anything more than just lap times.
