BM3 Stage 2 Supporting Mods

Hi all,

Have a F80 M3 2018 w 30k miles, planning to run stage 2 on 93 with BM3 once crank hub is done.

Any supporting mods/upgrades worth looking into? Currently have upgraded charge pipes, intakes and catless DPs, and will get new spark plugs (probably done with the CH). Was looking at top mounted intercooler, heat exchanger, oiler cooler, mosselman thermostat, etc.

Don't plan on tracking it, it'll be more for daily road use.

Thanks!

Just the heat exchanger will do.

Everything else you listed is unnecessary for a street car.

Mosselman thermostat keeps the engine oil too cool. By letting the car run up to temperature in sport mode (226f), you burn off water in the oil and extend the life of the oil.

Would the same apply for running E85 or some sort of E blend? Thinking of grabbing a BM3 flex fuel kit

I have flex fuel and the only thing you really need is a heat exchanger.

You could also get a fuel filter kit from Bend Calibration. It's a good safety item to have to avoid killing injectors from bad ethanol.

Do you have a link to the filter kit?

Also a few questions about the flex fuel kit if you didn't mind -
1. In the PTF site, should I be getting the 'include flex fuel sensor' option?
2. If I did my research correctly, you fire up Multimap (stage 2 for me), and it will automatically adjust to the E mix, whether I have full 93 octane or partial E?
