Why would you expect the 4 series to be bigger than a 6 series ?! you dont makes sense. It will be smaller than the 6 series. JASON: where will we get to see the Renders!? Please make it quick... i really thought this would be the look of it ... Very nice!

I hope that rear quarter panel window doesn't look like that!
Reminds me of the disgusting unproportionate Mercedes C class coupe

He said it looks like a smaller version of the 6 series and he doesn't like the fact that it will look like a smaller version of the 6 series. I'm assuming he wants it to have its own look

Everyone needs to get used to the "4 series" and quick. Enough of the heritage b.s. (although I get completely where you are coming from. 4 Series BMW is here to stay; including the M4. just hope for the best everyone, BMW is still designing, testing, and making these cars, not Scion, Toyota, Subaru, or Mitsubishi. Have some fucking respect for our brand.

Hello every one, new guy here. Just wanted to share the in the excitment of the new m3 / m4 coming up in 2014. I currently am driving a 2011 328i on a lease that will be up jan of 2014. I am planing on ordering the F80 m3.
It seems like it's gonna be for ever till the time gets here, all this drama of looking at what we think the potential car is gonna look like. With that i have been searching youtube and found a video, not sure how to transfer it on to here but i'm hoping some one can help me. go to youtube and type: ( 2014 BMW M4 photo's leaked) It looks like an alpine white wich is exactly what i'm planning on. It looks like the real thing. Please help with the video. |

I have been predicting for a while that the price and positioning of the 4 series would be a greater increment from the 3 series a la the 5/6 differential. Expect a more richly trimmed interior and a few other goodies for the extra money. I think the grand coupe will be popular as it brings this concept down to a more manageable sized car for those who drive on narrow streets.
The skepticism on weight reductions seems well founded. Standard carbon fiber brake disks would knock the price out of the ballpark. Remember, the cost of high performance automobiles will increase more rapidly than for the regular cars because of unreasonable government regulations on fuel efficiency. Manufacturers will ration the available vehicles with high prices. It is already here. The V8 upgrade in a Mustang GT is over $8000 because the car really does not come with any other enhancements except for suspension tuning. That is a pretty big percentage of the price of a $35k car.

I wonder how they're going to handle the potential product overlap. Within the F3X lineup alone we have the following:
F30 Sedan F31 Touring F32 Coupe F34 GT F36 Gran Coupe Let's get the sedan and coupe out of the way as they have distinct roles. We have the touring, GT, and Gran Coupe all coming to the US, right? Are they all simply varying degrees of compromise between looks and practicality? It looks like the one difference between the GT and Gran Coupe could be the trunk style and a small difference in roofline/rear decklid dimensions.
