As long as you don't have CCBs, there should be no issue.

Hey guys - sharing for science, and as this is a move sure to piss off purists of at least two brands:

These are BMW M4 18x10 wheels mounted (square) on my V, with Toyo Proxes RRs, in preparation for the Virginia City Hill Climb next week. Will be trailering the V out behind the Land Cruiser - all is right in the world.

The cool thing is in spite of tight clearances, these BMW wheels fit the V with only hub-centric centering rings, no spacers.

Didn't get a chance to do sway bars or springs this year, but we'll see how she does and then I'll decide if I should do either or both before 2017.

Thanks to all in this thread for all the info on the 513Ms - I doubt I could find better wheels, ESPECIALLY for the price I paid for this set - so thanks BMW for making plentifully available forged 18s in exactly the offset I needed!

so the 513M's can be fitted on F30X without any modifications? And that fat sidewall is due to the tire itself? Can tires be swapped with normal looking sidewall without the bulge?

Yup! Considering coils but will probably sell this low mileage beauty toward end of summer.

Would I be able to run a 275/40-18 up front? Spacer? I'd like to run a square setup. Stock ride height.

Can someone post a intelligible image of the markings on the insides of the wheels? I'm curious how to discern OEM from replica wheels. Thanks in advance

Non-staggered 513m setup

I am thinking about square setup for cold weather with 513m 18x9 et29 (front & rear) on an M2 with performance all-season tires (eg, Cont ExtremeContact DSW 06). Would this have a negative effect on handling? Is there greater risk for too much (dangerous) rear end squirm with this setup than with the staggered setup, which would include 18x10 et 40 on the rear axle? Thanks.

CCB carbon ceramic brakes. If you have gold calipers from factory and they are considerably bigger than stock. Reduces unsprung weight and also little to no brake dust.

Were you ever able to test on the 1M?

No but someone did but you need big space for rear I think. About 15mm spacer.
