I got to the dealer yesterday early evening and after I inspected the car, I was pissed that they had my car one week and two days to fix the driver side seat belt not retracting. I got in the car yesterday before leaving the dealership and the seat belt fix they did, if they did anything, was worse yesterday than one week ago before I brought in the car.

Regarding the scratch, I saw it after I left the dealership and their paperwork states over and over inspect your car before you leave because when you leave our dealership we are not responsible for anything. So, I brought a flashlight, as I knew their policies, and looked at the rims, paint, windshield, under the car, but I didn't look that closely inside so I missed the scratch before I left. I never thought this would happen.

I don't want them working on my car anyway. If they damaged it once, why would they not be careless again.

How can I fix on my own ?

You could try and heat it up with a hair dryer or heat gun.

The dealer is making an exception and replacing the center console. I said thanks and agreed to let them do the repair, but stipulated I wanted to watch the foreman install the part, they agreed.

This act does not remove the tech that did the damage. Additionally, this tech ripped the carpet holder, little circular plastic piece that holds the mat in place, from the driver side carpet.

Because this tech is there I can't comfortably go back there after they do this repair.

How on earth can you cause such damage trying to fix a seatbelt???!!!

Sounds like you got the work experience boy dude!

…and dealers wonder why they get a bad rap!

I had a dealer do something similar in a non BMW and I just brought it back later and told them they had to fix it. If a dealer messes up your car you should always start by just telling the service manager they gotta fix it before trying to do anything yourself.
