So F80 10.65 @ 131mph

I just came across this from a Motorsports page that I follow. I did a quick search and I didn't find any other post, so sorry if it's a repost. Anyone here knows this car? Seems to have been yesterday at the ATCO Dragway. Hopefully the link works, enjoy if it does (bad launch BTW).

Yep. Maximum PSI's car. They set new record last night 10.34 at 133mph with no meth. Pure turbos, Jb4, backend flash and some other of their goodies.

That's awesome! No crazy work needed, just turbos, tuning, sticky tires, and some serious cojones the way that thing was walking.

I think you forgot a few mods: front mount intakes, downpipes, full 3.5 exhaust, charge pipes, evolution intercooler, evolution intake manifold, port injection, Dodson clutches/baskets, fuel system upgrades, brake upgrade to fit drag wheel/tire, line locks.

To replicate this car, it is $20k in parts alone. Not even including install charges.

Why would the piggyback still be needed if there has been a flash tune and no meth injection? It there supplementary fueling that the JB4 is controlling?

My understanding is that the back-end flash (not a standalone flash), combined in this case with port injection, improves/solves the fueling limitations of the stock fuel system and allows max boost without the need to use meth. It complements the JB4 and still uses the JB4 to control boost.

That's all I know.
