M4 CCB with M2 Comp Rotors
Has anybody in the UK fitted the OEM CCB calipers with M2 Comp 400 mm discs?
I have a new set od CCD calipers and considering the upgrade and wanted to see if any others had done so over a BBK from AP / Brembo etc? any comments welcome. regards, Jamie

Getting discs from Cotswold BMW as they offered a good discount as always. away on holiday in a few days so will be looking forward to fitting towards the end of Aug. Just need lines and pads now and will prob get the same if recommended. What's the brake bust like on DS2500 pads? was also considering Red Stuff EBC but not sure if they do a fitment as yet?

Just don't mate, nope nope nope and a final nope. EBC are : mate. : They dust less than OEM but still dust. Never had and hint of brake fade, pedal going soft or performance drop in the past 5000miles on the DS2500. Member BEE PEE has driven my car and will let you know about my brakes. The M2C/M4//M3's are heavy so will destroy DS2500 on a hard track day and that is where DS1.11 come in. |

Useful info as I was unsure. Who would you recommend for supplying the cheapest quote for the front & rear pads?

I have a full set-up for sale:
Front and Rear M4 Carbon Ceramic Calipers with the OEM brackets and bolts 1k miles old M2 CP Front Discs Goodridge Black Hoses Brand New M5 Front Pads 1k miles old HPS 5.0 Rear Pads I am using the stock M4 rear discs, only downside is that there is a 1cm area on the inside of the disc which isn't covered by the brake pad. The contact surface on the M2 CP discs is narrower so you get a full clean sweep of the discs if you wish to get those as well. Looking for £3.6k for the full setup. This cost me a lot more to put together. |
