ESS Tuning Charge Pipe Fitment Issues

So I changed my spark plugs and coil packs and while I had the charge pipes off, I decided to upgrade them to the ESS Tuning Silicone charge pipes. Heard great things about them and I liked the fact that they were silicone. I followed another forum members DIY and it wasn't hard, but I'm finding that I'm fouling on the side of the engine bay and the intake. I tried to adjust it multiple times and didn't seem to help. Any ideas? Ugh, don't want these silicone pipes to rub on something and cut open!

Update: Just for anyone installing this charge pipe on the car, it is very tight, but I ended up pushing the silicone pipes almost all the way in on the intercooler. It needs to go in further than where the oem silicone couplers were. This helped although its still pretty tight.

Aftermarket CP's are likely all going to be tight, if not rub in that area. If youre worried try attaching a strip of double sided tape or felt.

Thanks for the reply guys. It seems to fit better now after I pushed it all in. Worst case, i will shave it down.
