Let’s talk floor mats
I need new floor mats. I was sold on the mperf set but every time I see them used for sale they are completely housed. I guess Bc they are too light with the light grey pattern on them. Anyone have feedback on how they look and how they held up? Were you happy you got them? Would u do it again ? https://www.fcpeuro.com/products/bmw...SABEgJ5rPD_BwE
Option 2 is ordering the ind oem mats that have the m3 logo embroidered on. These look very nice and am now leaning towards them. But they are very price at 240. Anyone have these? Thoughts? https://ind-distribution.com/product...-floor-mat-set Any feedback is welcom. Thanks. |

I like the M Performance floor mat because they are easy to clean. I would get them again if that came up.

used to have the mperf and you are right about them being completed housed. i personally would love to have the ind ones but unfortunately they don't make for RHD.

+1 for M Performance mats
Had them on my previous 435i and loved how they looked. Were easy to keep clean as well. Now I only have the OEM mats on my M4 and I'm thinking of getting those M Performance mats again. |

I just spray a cloth and wipe after each time I drive. Takes seconds and mats look brand new

People still use cloth mats? Geez, thought everyone moved to WeatherTech by now. I always have the same answer:
- For cars where your knees are bent more horizontally than vertically (less than 45 degrees), regular rubber mats with the grooves (not the floorliner type). This gives better traction when wet since your foot is pushing with more force forward vs. down on the mat, and the deeper grooves provide more grip. - For basically everything else, like trucks and SUVs where your knee is bent at greater than 45 degrees when sitting, floor liner all the way. In either case, both get hosed down 4x/year and they're good as new. And if you somehow manage to wear in a hole, lifetime warranty for original purchaser. Really a no brainer. Can't see why anyone who doesn't live in the desert would get anything but rubber mats. Their sole purpose is to trap dirt and water so the rest of your car doesn't get dirty. I'd argue that if there's one part of the car where looks matter the least, it's the floor mats |

These came out for the 5 series last year and didn't fit our cars. I think these should fit.

I prefer Coco Mats. They are heavy and tough. Great color selections too.

I don't care THAT much what quality floor mats I have, and I'd never run anything but black carpets (those full beige floors on some cars look horrendous), but any rubber mats are just ugly purposeful things for winter use and work trucks. I use OEM F30 rubber mats for Winter and the stock cloth ones the rest of the year.

Not sure how others are getting the M Perf. mats so clean but I'm using a diluted 2:1 APC to spray then set and scrub with tire brush then hosing them down with a 1000 PSI, 2 GPM pressure washer but they still don't look even close brand new.
