18s from F87
I have a local selling a set of wheels that they claim came off an F87. The specs are:
18x8 ET30 245/40R/18 Any reason why these wouldnt fit my F80 w/ Std Brakes? It would be nice to have a set of beater wheels.

OEM 513M front wheel is 18x9et29 and the rear wheel is 18x10et40. F87 M2 uses the same wheels as the f8x.
18x8et30 is ~0.54” less aggressive (wheel sunk in more into wheel well) and the rim is narrower by 1”. 245/40 is 10 mm narrower than stock 255/40 tire. On the rear, it sits ~0.62” less aggressive and the rim is 2” narrower than stock. 245 is 30 mm narrower than stock 275/40 tire. IMO, this isn’t even a good winter setup due to rim and tire widths. These may have been used on a M2 but they don’t match OEM wheel sizes. |
