Clutch Masters FX850 Twin Disc Clutch and Aluminum Flywheel Kit - F8X M2/M3/M4
P/N 03795-TD8S-A, this is the street/track trim with one ceramic rigid disc and one fibertuff (organic) sprung disc. Comes with throwout bearing and alignment tool. Less than 100 miles on the clutch. We installed this and ran into a slight notchy engagement when shifting into gear at a dead stop. Clutch was sent to Clutch Masters for warranty evaluation where the pilot bearing was identified as not pressed in properly. Everything has been checked, measured, and confirmed to be in good order. It has just made its way back from the vendor. Ended up throwing the OEM back in the car. Of the limited miles that I drove the car with the clutch, I can say I was impressed with the quick revs and engagement. Takes some getting used to, but entirely manageable. Would have been fun to get to use it on the track. My loss is your gain. Local pickup near Chicago suburbs (60056) or will consider shipping. |
