Has anyone switched the F80 Xenon headlights for the LED headlights?
I’m buying a 2018 M3, and I would like to know if anyone had done a swap of the Xenon headlights for the LED headlights?

Not sure if they have, check the electronic section, maybe @dubsesd did? At the very least you will need coding. Wonder if the costs for the lights will be outrageous.

The 2018's come with Adaptive LEDs, they are standard (version 1.0), you must be referring to the Icon Adaptive LED (version 2.0). Has anybody performed this swap...hmmm.. I don't think so, it is too expensive. It is better to opt for the Premium package on the 2018's which gets you the Icon LED's

- Standard Adaptive LEDs - round shape LEDs - Icon Adaptive LEDs - angular shaped LEDs, black headlamp housings, significantly brighter than the standard LEDs. The Icon Adaptive LEDs come with a feature which basically amounts to a smart high beam. The car has a photo sensor which can detect how far behind you are from the car in front of you or detect oncoming traffic and intelligently "split" the high beam so that it doesn't blind the other drivers. Unfortunately, US-models come with this feature disabled, so you have to get the headlamps coded to the Euro-spec. See video for more info... |

If you need a quick reference go to build your own in Bmw USA and look at the standard lights then check the exec package. Exec package is worth it honestly for just those lights alone plus you get all the other goodies as well. So to answer your question more directly, yes, there is a better headlight to upgrade to on a 2018 M3 and to get them you need to spec the executive package.
