S-orange is going to be alot more work to keep spectacular looking compared to either, but easier than black by a long shot.

My only regret is that I didn't want to wait for the CF roof delays so I sub'd in the sunroof. Not the end of the world, but the rest of the car is exactly how I wanted it.
I went with DCT to appease my wife because she wanted to be able to drive it too and refuses to learn how to handle a manual. While I sometimes find myself pushing down with my left foot for that phantom clutch, I don't regret it. I live in a city and daily driving the manual was getting to be a pain. This is the first DCT BMW I've owned and I have to say, I love it.

I sometimes sit back and observe her driving, she sometimes gets bored with her MBZ E350 and uses the paddle shifters even though she loves the car it's self.

Let me put it another way, from the viewpoint of value.
The Adaptive suspension is easily the most value per dollar you will get with this car. One the contrast, the LED's are probably the least amount of value you get per dollar.

I didn't spring the $875 for the HK stereo. I wasn't impressed with the HK in my E92 and thought I wouldn't notice... guess what? I notice! Get the HK stereo even though it's not that impressive. The stock radio is just that UN-impressive.

I pick it up in less than 2 hours. I'm so incredibly excited I came here to relieve some of my anxiety. Truth is, after such a fun and memorable process seeing end of this chapter ahead is almost a let down. Almost. So enjoy the whole process from start to finish. Once it ends, it ends. Consolidation prize? A great new car.

A related question as I wouldn't want to regret this after I buy the car For cars that don't have exec package, does the key need to be inserted in a slot or does it stay in the pocket? I do know that the door requires manual clicking of the remote but what about the ignition? I ask because that is the only thing that interests me in the exec package.
Thanks.

Sweet. Thanks a lot. Just saved me $4300 Also love the fact that BMW finally included music streaming over Bluetooth standard in the F8X along with fold down rear seats. Wasn't so in the E9X.

best decision i made (other than 6MT) was to add the full leather, definitely worth it and brings a more premium look to the interior. only thing i regret was not adding the LED's but thats not the end of the world

If there was anything your would of done differently in purchasing an M car, because it caused you some form of grief, anxiety, fiscal oops or other negative consequence, what would it be?
I would have opted for DCT, Sakhir Orange(maybe) and LEDs What was the smartest thing you did that yielded a positive experience, result, etc. that went beyond your wildest expectations. European delivery with 20 other people in M cars was the wildest thing EVER, if you can't do a group delivery you should still do euro delivery and take your car to SPA(or hockenheim) and then the Nordschleife, I highly recommend taking your car to track to the track while you are in Europe. ED is the only I could ever buy a new car from now on As far as options: I am glad I got the exec pckg I use every feature except for the headlight washers, thought heated steering wheel was useless but in fact it is AWESOME

I think the Xenons are just fine. That's why I have no regrets.

You are the first I have read with 6MT regrets. Care to elaborate?

Thank God we all have our opinion but after having xenon's on last 3 BMWs the LED pkg is got to be one of the top 3 must haves of this car. They also include auto-dimming which is quite accurate with sensing from front of rear view mirror, just leave the brights on all the time, it'll do the rest.
