Garage List
It's 33k, and has HUD, Harmon Kardon and virtually all extras and has been garaged when not in use.

Doesn't matter really, it's never gonna sell while there's a 3 at the front regardless.

Give the guy a break folks. If it sells it sells if it doesn't he will eventually have to reduce the price.

I know what you're saying.... But this isn't in the "for Sale" section, it's in the general M3/4 section.... So it's a discussion thread.
And let's be right, it started off at just under £36k a week ago.
It's now at £32.5K.
Constructive feedback will assist in the sale. And my constructive feedback is that the asking price needs to start with a "2" for any chance of a sale. IMO of course, but based on 'proper' values.
The fact it's kept in a garage & has had an oil change every year adds absolutely zero value.
Fact is it's a 2014 car, asking for 2017/8 money. It really is as simple as that.

£28K would seem about right.

Fair play. Lets see how he progresses with the sale with the reduced price.

I know. Which is what I just don't understand.
If you want to sell your car privately (like i'm sure many of us have), You simply have to be realistic with price, based on the current market.
I'm sure this car is a lovely example, that has been cherished and has wanted for nothing. It's clear the OP is an enthusiast.
Which does add a certain value, BUT ONLY WHEN PRICED CORRECTLY & not inflated because of this.
Go see an 'average' to 'good" one at £27.2K. Then the OP's impeccable one at £27.5K. You'd probably suck the extra £300 without much thought. But once into a 4 figure difference, you wouldn't.
It's just my take on it & I genuinely wish the OP the best of luck. Just as I genuinely believe it still needs to lose at least another £3k to have any chance of selling IN THE CURRENT MARKET.

You are right. Unfortunately I am the same as the seller though generally trade my cars in. Who ever buys my cars basically get a brand new car at under half the cost! For this reason, I’m inclined to keep my current 330d!

Someone mentioned earlier in this thread "this isn't the for sale section" - where is the for sale section!? Is there a regional UK one? The only one I'm able to find is the top level classifieds which is almost exclusively US classifieds.
I potentially might be thinking of listing my F83 CP, late 2017, 9k miles, it's pristine and I just don't have a good feeling about listing it to the wider public on the Autotrader, I know tons of people do that but I just don't feel comfortable with entertaining the potential time wasters or worse. So if there's a UK for sale section here that would be ideal!

Uk section of F30 post. There's a general discussion platform & UK classifieds.

Consider advertising it on M3 Cutters also. That's purely UK.
To be fair though, check WBAC, their offers are really strong atm. Can't see it lasting much longer though tbh.
My son just got rid of a 12 year old TT ragtop, which was high mileage & average condition at best.
He got £4.3k for it. Ridiculous really, it was valued £1k less, 12 months ago.

Thanks man. I already checked WBAC and I think it was around 34k which is far less than what I would release it for, it's higher than I expected from them but I'd be better off voluntarily terminating the finance with BMW than taking that.

It's sold for £29k, thanks for interest. I got £3k off the Tesla I just bought, so was prepared to sell it for less. Had I not got £29k, I would have kept it.
