I disclosed everything I knew about the M3 to slcook54 . I purchased the vehicle with mismatched tires and curbed wheels. This is the reason why I purchased my matte bronze BBS FI-Rs with brand new Michelin Pilot Sport S4s. New buyer opted against the FI-Rs, but was fully aware of the rest of the issues.
The loose thrust arm, was not something I was aware of. I did not drive the car long enough after the Dinan suspension parts were installed to notice anything off. Before you spout off information that you DO NOT know or are privy too, less than 200 miles were put on my CS post Dinan suspension install. So the issue that the new buyer faced with the thrust arm, clearly amplified once he put miles on the car. If this were an issue that I knew about, I would have had the issue addressed on MY DIME. slcook54 - Sorry that this issue popped up on you. BTW, we need to chat offline. I've been out sick for the entire month of March, mostly hospitalized - fought a nasty case of pneumonia that turned to acute kidney failure. I need to transfer the windshield and oil change warranty to you. I also called AutoTeknic to warranty one of the front CF splitters, still waiting on their reply. Let's chat soon.

First Track Day in the CS
I was able to shake the car down at Thunderhill last Friday 4/15. It was my first time tracking the CS and also my first time at Thunderhill. I also knew the brakes were stock and don't recall seeing a recent brake fluid service in the car's history. My plan was to just take it easy the majority of the day in MDM mode and not push the car too hard. I slotted at the back of the Open group and that seemed to work well. I was taken aback by how extreme some of the elevation changes are at Thunderhill, there are tons of blind crests that are also off camber. Turn 3 ended up surprising me on my 2nd session and the back end came around on me. I had been setting up too far to the left, further exacerbating an already off camber corner. The crest also unloads the rear. I saw a lot of people go off here all day. A cool surprise was that Randy Pobst was in my run group and I got to follow him through turn 3 later in the day so see how a professional navigates it, really cool. I shook it off, drove through the hot pit and was back on my way. I spent the rest of the day just focusing on the line, I knew I wasn't close to the limit of the car or the tires. I definitely did find the limit of the brake fluid though. I boiled it in my last session and my brake pick-up point is basically at the floor now. I ended my last session about 5 minutes early and my brakes were smoking. Was able to cool them off and drive home with no major issues. The pads still seem to have some life left, but I ordered a fresh set of DS2500 from FCP Euro just in case. Track Day Bug Killer All Better What's Next? Tint Removal on 4/22 Castrol SRF and maybe swap to DS2500 on 4/23 Full Correction and Ceramic Coat on 5/7 TLG mudflaps ordered yesterday Still waiting Exhaust valve Controller from Extreme Power House AA EL midpipe Sell the Dinan midpipe and Carbon bits

Car looks great man! I actually picked up my CS the same day, same mileage too haha. Excited to track it at Sebring in July.

Definitely remember you from the E36 days! That was a sweet car.
Also loving the combo of M3s you currently have, and it's great you track them. You should take a picture of them side by side!
