Just got a Sakhir orange m4 comp

Hey you guys just got myself a 2018 Sakhir orange m4 and I've been loving the car! Had a 2020 392 wide body previously. Also does anyone know if these colors are individual or are they uncommon? Thanks y'all

uncommon? maybe depending on where you live.

congrats its a great feeling to take home a F82.

I see a few around in South Florida, but not so many that I don’t notice others when I come across them. Far more uncommon than black/white/silver/gray but not individual-exclusive either.

there is the f80 production data. they probably made 3x as many M4s as they did M3s though. probably 6000+ orange M4s out there. its rarer than yas marina, similar to silverstone, and not as rare as austin yellow which was the rarest of the 'standard' colors.

Ahhh okay totally makes sense. Just asking because where I live I see more marina blue than sahkir orange! Btw is there a website that shows those exact numbers or goes more into depth?

there were some guys here that had connections to bmw and could tell you how many of your exact spec existed. but bmw pulled the plug on that. there are no M4 production numbers.

5-6% of production though. I run into plenty of sunset orange cars, but I've never run into another SO on the street. Even at meets its a pretty rare color. I've only ever seen one other SO car in the area.

Love my SO f83. Such a moody color, changes colors in different light. Always turns heads.

I have yet to see another SO in my neck of the woods, which is New Hampshire. Seeing another M4/M3 is even a rare thing up here.

You definitely picked a great color. I get compliments all the time and head turns everywhere I go.

I've seen a M3 SO just yesterday! It's more uncommon than yas marina. I've seen more of those.
