Mexico Blue is the color that I want on my future GT3. Ever since I first saw MB on the P-Car, I was hooked.

P.S. OP, it's nice to see that you roll with the driving gloves as well.

The YMB is a 15' that I got when the F8Xs first launched, it has a manual transmission but I had a change of mind and decided to rethink the details of what I really wanted.
The Grigio Individual is my girl's...

Looks great but in the pics it looks just like YMB. Wish I could see it in person!

I saw Jace work his magic on both these cars. Stunning color! Great combo along with the Grigio Hope to see you folks around!

Congrats man, looks incredible. I think I found my next car color...

If you don't mind, how much did you end up paying for the color?

So I've been looking at this thread over the past day off and on to try to decide.
The first time I saw it on my phone I was scrolling away thinking it was going to be a comparison with a Yas or that the settings were off on my phone.

In the picture with all three it looks too similar to Yas. I had to figure which is which by the mirror caps. I'm sure the different hue is more apparent in person though. But sorry everyone, I'll be the oddball, just not enough difference for me and I'm not sure that it merits a $5k mark up from Yas.
In the pictures it looks like the same tone Yas takes up in the shade or darker light. I'm really liking the Miami Blue Porsche has for the light blue color wars.

My comments notwithstanding, the car looks incredible in it's own right. The rich blue tone is my favourite I think, but would have to compare it in person to Yas, and definitely takes the crown as the more smurfy color imo.

Congrats.

That is beautiful! Great pick for an individual color! Actually, this could be my new favorite color on the F80.

Now I just want to see Mexico Blue (or Voodoo) on an M4 as well.

You really make the interior come alive with your pics. I don't know if it's your interior color or your editing skills but those interior shots look awesome!

Yea seriously. Individual cars are the norm on these forums now. Between full leather and Individual, people are spending some serious $$$ customizing their cars

I don't think there are as much IND M5's as M3/M4's. I wonder why?

The M3 has always been the crown jewel of the M lineup though. Even with the previous generations, there were far more M3 builds than say the M5/6.

Not to mention the M5/6 are quite a bit more $$$. I know I can't afford one

Also, and it's just a hunch, assuming the M5/6 buyers are an older demographic, they tend to be more conservative with their color choices. Even from the base colors, SO is the only "loud" one. No AY or YMB, etc...

But man... that Mexico Blue F80 is stunning.. I just can't get it out of my head.

Fair enough.

Don't you also have the feeling that BMW chose not to make the M3's in classic colors (Melbourne/Imola Red, LMB, IB, etc.) to force people into 5k+ Individual colors?
