Don't get the star spec guys, it's a narrower tire.

Any preference or difference ordering from Tire Rack or Discount Tire with the PS4Ss?
I noticed Discount Tire does not delineate the speed rating as Y or (Y). Regardless, I plan on quick jacking the car up and just bringing the wheels to Discount Tire and then putting the wheels back on myself; independent if I buy them from Tire Rack or DT. 437M 19's planning on generic 265 F/ 285 R/35ZR19... excited for the beefier look and improved traction over my stock Continentals. |

I'm a big fan of Tire Rack. They have always had excellent service and incredible speed.

2017 M3 ZCP on 666s with oem MPSS and just ordered 265/285/30 for f/r. Currently on 12f/10r spacers and on a subtle drop with KW HAS.
Will I run into any issues with 265/285 setup? Last 20 or so pages in this thread is mostly talking about 19s and didn't see much mentioning of 666s. |

Friend suggested 295rear would that look too wide for the rear over 285s? |

So I ordered and had 265/295 installed this afternoon and with 10mm spacers in back with KW HAS kit, over certain small bumps on the road my rear rubs. Currently, rear is at 610mm if measure from lower rim lip to top of center fender.
With my OEM PSS and same drop, I did like the look of the stance and set up. I was also able to comfortably fit 1 finger clearance but now it is a pretty tight finger gap. With the new MP4S especially at 295, it looks way meatier and wider. Should I go back and ask to switch out to 285 or raise the back by 1/4? |

I’m moving from 666ms to a set of Richland Forged RF-GT4s 19x9.5 and 19x10.5.
What size tires should I do in PS4S? I was thinking of 265/285 35s… Will that ride and look right? I’m on a stock suspension with a CS EDC coding. |

Are you 100% sure of this?
I fcked up... I got both fronts and back star spec... fronts have even a different sidewall design (Michelin pilot sport 4setc) than the rears and slightly different thread pattern... I read somewhere that the fronts are rear tyres for g30 or g20... Do you think it I will be ok to have fronts non-star and rear star spec as I'm thinking of just swapping those out? Thanks |

I would stick to generic PS4S for the F8x platform personally - it's been awesome for me and a step up from the homologated MPSS I switched from. |

The 285 tire’s Measured Rim Width is 10" however the Rim Width Range is 9.5-11”. Will stretching the tire an extra inch to match the RF 11” wheel make the tire look stretched or lose performance in any way? I want to go with the wider 11” rears however I just purchased the 285s and don’t want any rubbing. |

Just got a set to replace a set of PZeros. It's like the car shed a couple hundred pounds. The steering feels lighter in a good way and more nimble. I loved them on my E90 M3.

My F80 is relatively low and on the 666m (285) with 10R & 12F spacers does not rub. When I was running 295s at the same height, they did come in contact with the fender liner when fully compressed and as a result, I raised the rear by less than 1/4". Are you on coils, HAS, springs or air? My new BBS have a more aggressive offset (~2mm) and I plan to go with option # 2 - Camber but only enough to clear at full compression. Let me know if you need more information or want to see pictures. |

I'm currently on the 437M, 19". 265/35ZR19 front and 285/35ZR19 rear. ZCP EDC stock suspension. Just purchased the tires and looking to upgrade the wheels to the RF-GT4 19".
I am more concerned with handling/overall performance and relative ride harshness. Not a fan of low profile side walls, been stuck on the side of the road too many times. I am between the 10.5" and 11" wide rears. Although I specifically purchased the 265/285 combo to most closely match the OEM ratio and prevent TC intervention, I wouldn't mind in the future upgrading to beefier/wider tires to match the 11" wheel. Although the 285/35ZR19 can fit a 11" wide wheel (Rim Width Range is 9.5-11”), the 285 tire’s Measured Rim Width is 10" and I'm worried about the performance effects and look of stretching the 285 tire an extra inch. Leaning towards the 10.5" wide rear. |
