Outside of having to remove a few more things on the top of front the spring swap is pretty straight forward when compared to doing the install on most other cars.

The H&R ride great and we have no complaints with how they ride, though like you we plan to swap to full coilovers down the road.

I already ordered the H&R super springs. My good buddy is the GM at the local dealer. They will install my springs with alignment for $1,000.

I need some good opinions. How do the super sport springs ride? I have the money to switch out later with some good coilovers.

Should I wait?
To answer your bottom line question if you should wait, in my opinion is NO. If $1000 bucks has no bearing on your finacial situation then why wait if you can take actions now ? Who knows, the spring install may be just the perfect application for you and you may not feel the need to switch out later.

So the dealer wasn't very far off. The local dealer here would have charged you $1005 with alignment.

On topic. H&R in my experience are a step down from stock performance-wise.

Lowered, check
Bouncy, check

KW is releasing their HAS kit and V3 any day now. I'd wait personally.

Do you know if the HAS kit will work with EDC? Any idea how much faster the stock shocks will wear out due to lowering?

I agree hoo, but I don't see how the KW HAS kit (which is just springs with adjustable perches) will be any different. springs only = bad idea unless you don't care about a degrade in performance and ride quality

yes, any spring only kit will work with edc, but it will be far less effective because the struts are operating outside of their range in terms of spring rate and suspension travel

Never trust sleeve kits, would rather springs.

I can only speak from experience on my F10 M5. H&R bouncy. KW HAS kit installed and felt way more progressive. Not bouncy. Spring rates perhaps? I don't know mechanically, but as a driver I clearly preferred the latter.

KW V3 inbound for my M4 though

I prefer full coil overs as well. But if its the sleeve option i just don't see it as a good option. See cheap hondas with coil over sleeves. Not a M3

Live in a small beach town in Florida....a grand is way too much...my small shop did it for $300 then had to go to the dealership for an alignment

I'm normally against any suspension "upgrades" on M cars but yours is the first one on this board that looks excellent.

Car looks outstanding.

Even the gaps are the same (front and back).

My honest opinion, I don't have adaptive suspension ., I don't notice any difference in the ride. H&R did A perfect job on this springs!!
