2015 non zcp exhaust swap to Competiton exhaust questions

Hello guys I'm new here. Always had my stock m4 2015 and never wanted to modify. But I found a competiton exhaust thinkin it was going to at least make my car sound more aggressive😔.. only to find out I get a lil deeper tone but some reason it sounds quieter and literally quiet on Cold Starts?? Even my last exhaust sounded louder exaggerated on cold starts? Am I missing something? Is the exhaust bad? Sorry might be stupid for doing this. Please any info will help. If not I'll just install my old one back..

It's all about the zcp tune, and the zcp exhaust probably wont help to make your car sound more aggressive.

Maybe MPE, Remus, or AWE would be a nice exhaust upgrade.
The cheaper way would just getting AA midpipe+ catless downpipe.

Wow.. thanks bro. Zcp has it's own tune? How much you think that would be? And yes I went to a meet yesterday and they advised i get AA midpipe and then the VSRF downpipe? But wouldn't that remove all my cats? And then pollute the air? Lol sorry sound like a girl rn. Still new to this

Get the AA or VRSF single midpipe. All you need. Keep stock downpipes! Catless downpipes will make it sound a bit raspy and smell. The midpipe is more than enough IMO. That is what I'm currently running right now with bm3 tune.

I got an AA midpipe with my stock 2015 muffler and it made a big difference in tone with no tune needed. I would just get the midpipe lmk if you want sound clips

You can't get burbles on a non-comp without a tune and each model has its own slightly different tune. True, the ZCP exhaust is physically different from the normal exhaust, but not as different as like a Remus or Akra vs. the normal exhaust.

I also have a 2015 non-comp and went with BM3+catless downpipes. I love how it sounds now. And it was a fraction of the cost of a full MPE.

But you are right that you won't pass smog. If that's important, go with a midpipe instead of a downpipe.
